A millennium ago, Te Fiti’s heart was stolen by the demigod Maui, and darkness spread ever since, with more and more islands becoming barren lands. To save her people, Moana, the daughter of the chief of a tribe, was determined to find Maui, and persuaded him to come along with her to return Te Fiti’s heart.
