Thorsten J. Pattberg, PhD, was born and raised in Germany and attended the Universities of Edinburgh, Fudan, Tokyo, Harvard, and Peking (where he received his doctorate).
He is the author of Shengren – Above Philosophy and beyond Religion (LoD Press, New York), The East-West Dichotomy (Foreign Language Press, Beijing), and The What the Chinese Can and Can‘t Do (IDT Institute, Tokyo). He is now in private practice in Tokyo, Japan.
